Birthday girl

Our baby turned two on Oct. 30. When I was pregnant with her I used to joke that if she was born on Halloween I'd call her my little goblin, but she came one day before. Poor girl had a cold though so she didn't get to go to church that day but she still enjoyed her special day.
Landon really wanted Katelyn to have a rainbow cake and the two of them even helped me put the M&M's on the cake.
Mmmmm.
Excited for her gifts.
She was telling daddy to take her picture in this one.
And Landon even got a toy so he wouldn't get too jealous.

Little Miss Katelyn Jane. We love you so much and are glad you are a part of our family. Your little laughter is always filling our home and I LOVE it. You have grown so fast. I can't believe that you say your ABC's and count to ten already. We still are working on your colors though because for some reason you just don't seem to care, if you had your way everything would be pink or blue. And guess what?--potty training is just around the corner for you. Katelyn, you are very patient with your brother Landon, who loves you but knows how to push your little buttons. But you also know how to annoy him too. I love it when I walk into a room and see the two of you head to head drawing or playing. Thank you for two awesome years. Happy Birthday.

what a cute girl! I can't believe she knows her ABC's already! Amazing. The cake looks like a lot of fun for kids. I'll have to file that one away for the future.
