lovely weather = trip to the park

We had some wonderful weather (70 degrees) so we waited for Daddy to get home from work and then Landon and I headed to the park. (He even wore shorts)
Getting ready for his first-ever solo slide run
He loved it and as soon as he got to the bottom he said "I did it"
He decided the stairs were too easy so he tried these instead.
Pointing to the even bigger slide, which he decided to try head-first.
It was kind of bittersweet watching him navigate the play equipment all by himself because I was so happy to see what a big boy he is becoming but sad to see he's not my baby boy anymore.

Cereal, yummy.

Our little girl got her first spoonfuls of rice cereal finally. She's going on five months soon, but we had to wait a little bit because she's had some upper respiratory issues due to a cold. Rice cereal is not new to her though because we've been putting some in her bottle for sometime now trying to help her control her spit up.
Giving the bowl a quizzical look.
Taking it all in.
Lunging for the spoon (she gripped it quit tightly between her gums)
Starting to get the hang of it.
Ain't she a cutie!

Trip home

We had a lot of fun at home in Idaho and Utah during Ben's spring break. We decided since we don't have any idea where Ben's future job will take us we'd better make a visit out there when we had time and both kids were still free to fly. (By the way, I would never suggest flying with a toddler--ugh). We spent 5 days at both of our parents' homes and got to have fun visiting with family and friends.
For the most part the kids remained healthy so that was nice. Thank you to all that visited with us. And a special thanks to Mom and Dad Davis for taking us to and from the airport.
Below is a picture of the three newest kids to Ben's side of the family. Left to Right, Gracie, Carson, and Katelyn.
And the video posted below is of Uncle Ethan and Uncle Keven throwing Landon around. He really enjoyed it. My favorite part is when he almost falls over with dizziness but then just goes right back for more--silly kid.
