Valentine's fun.

We had fun this Valentine's day this year. We made sugar cookies and decorated them and then played Valentines Bingo. That game was a hit--we have played it a dozen times since then.

Christmas vacation

Finally getting to our Christmas photos! We got to spend Christmas in Utah this year and boy was it a lot of fun. We love getting to see everyone and now that we live in Colorado we get to do it more often. We packed a lot in on those five days we were there. We took the kids to Temple Square to see the lights. It took us FOREVER to find parking and it was really crowded, but the kids liked looking at the lights.

 The kids were happy to warm up, and the adults were glad to get out of the crowds for a bit.

 CHRISTMAS DAY!

Grandma and Grandpa Davis, thank you for having us for the holiday. You spoil us WAY too much, but we LOVE it. Haha. Spending time with family on Christmas is wonderful and we are glad that the kids get to share that special day with their grandparents. One of the best things about Christmas is watching the kids open presents. Their excitement is contagious.

Thanksgiving (belated)

For Thanksgiving we were able to drive up to Blackfoot to spend with the Anderson side of the family. Luckily the roads were good so the 10.5 hour drive wasn't terrible. Everyone was there except for Uncle Lee (he would be there for Christmas though!)

Kate turns 3 (a bit late)

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY, KATELYN JANE!

She really wanted a Tinker Bell cake.

 Thanks to Hurricane Sandy Aunt Lindsie had some extra time on her hands and was able to spend a few days with us and celebrate Katelyn's birthday and Halloween.

 And for dinner we went to Red Robin (Kate got sang too, an ice cream sundae and a PINK balloon). And her favorite thing about her birthday was her big princess balloon daddy brought home for her!

Katelyn, we love you and have been so lucky to watch you grow these past three years. You are a very special girl with a fun personality. Right now you love pink and purple, princesses, baby dolls and shoes! It appears three is the age that you became a girlie-girl. We love you!

Halloween, a bit late.

Better late then never right? Here are some pics from Halloween. Landon wanted to be a police officer but we couldn't find any costumes that fit him, so his second choice was Batman. Katelyn wanted to be a fairy princess, and Allyson was our little pumpkin.

 This was at the ward trunk or treat. The kids made out pretty good :)

Mouthful of rice cereal

Since we gave Allyson her first spoonfuls of rice cereal over a month ago I figured we had better get these pictures posted! I think Landon and Katelyn were more excited about it than she was.

Rockies Game

Now that Colorado is our new home we decided to introduce the kids to the Colorado Rockies. We went to the Rockies vs. Diamondbacks game and Landon was in love with it. He adores baseball but was kind of sad it wasn't his Atlanta Braves, but don't you worry, Ben has already promised Landon they will go to the Atlanta/Rockies games when they are in town. Katelyn said her favorite part was watching the "people (vendors) with the food go by." And little Ally did awesome except for freaking out when people cheered loudly for home runs. Oh, and fun fact, Missy Franklin threw out the first pitch.

 Ally even wore her (Landon's) baseball burp cloth.
